"Connecting Conway in Christ" is more than just a motto for us. It is a statement of who we are and what we believe our calling is in this community. We believe God has called us into this community to reflect His power in bridging all kinds of gaps. We strive to be a place where people find peace with God, healing from broken relationships, new friendships with others, and a place to belong through the good news of Jesus Christ.

 

Welcome!  My desire is that in browsing these pages you might see something of what we are and who we are.  The “what” part is important because we think that what we believe matters to God.  We want to be transmitters of the life and message of One who claimed to be God in flesh – Jesus Christ.  Think of it!  Since God chose to reveal himself, we want to take care in passing his life and message on to our world.

This is why the who matters as much as the what.  I don’t know about you, but I only hear a message through a message bearer.  If the two don’t go together, I shut down.   My strongest desire is to see God build a community of people who know their deep need for God’s grace, his unmerited favor.  People like that should be humbled by the opportunity to carry around the life of Jesus so that others can see.  My hope is that these pages will spur you to “check us out” face to face.  After all, that is what God chose to do in revealing who He is.
